On a family visit to Bucerias it occurred to Karla and Alex that Bucerias would be the ideal location to realize their goal of opening a restaurant. That is when they made the move from Guadalajara to Bucerias.

Little by little they put the pieces together and created Luna Luna . They opened serving Mexican breakfast and lunch, using fresh ingredients to make house specials. With over ten years in Bucerias, Luna Luna has become a local favorite that keeps visitors coming back year after year.

Dugarel Plays is located beachfront, and is basically two restaurants in one. There is a street level open air dining room with beautiful ocean views and a casual, covered area right on the sand. The traditional Mexican and Seafood food is very good, the beer is cold and the margaritas are delicious. Prices are reasonable, especially when compared to some of the other beachfront restaurants. Relaxing at a table right on the sand for an afternoon is our favorite!

 The Napolitano family (Ciro, Pina y Vicenzo) arrived from the Montecatini in the Tuscany region. They opened the door of Trattoria Toscana Mia, offering what they know best: Italian home made food, Fresh pasta, pizza and good Italian wine. All recipes are original from Mamma Pina who has worked all her life on many different Italian kitchens.

At present is administered by Vincenzo and Amine.  Vicenzo personally cook his mothers recipes and services the restaurant. Trattoria Toscana Mia is a restaurant that respects original recipes and times of each ingredient, with the proper care of the freshness of the dishes, from pastas, pizzas, meat and fish, as well as the bread and focaccia that are baked every day.
